Launch Safety of Journalists Indicators Report in Kazakhstan

2 November 2021

2 November 2021, UNESCO Almaty and Adil soz International Foundation for Protection of Freedom of Speech organize a final seminar to discuss and provide final input to the report assessing the journalists’ safety situation in Kazakhstan.

The workshop is designed to strengthen media development in Kazakhstan by improved monitoring and reporting systems, focused on SDG 16.10.1 (safety of journalists) including through IPDC's Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism on the Safety of Journalists and the Danger of Impunity.

The seminar marks the International day to end impunity for crimes against journalists. #EndImpunity
